My Adventure!!

May 31, 2008

I watched The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian yesterday at the other end of Singapore where the Wild Wild Wet lies instead of the Wild Wild West. Ok, bad joke.. whatever.
I thought the movie was good, funny at some parts, but a little boring with sooo many battles.
I would give it 3.5 stars.
But [...]

Isaiah 53:1-5

May 30, 2008

Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of
the Lord been revealed?
He grew up before him like a tender
shoot,
and like a root of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to
attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we
should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by
men,
a man of sorrows and familiar
with suffering.
Like one [...]

Porphyria’s Lover

May 28, 2008

The rain set early in tonight,
The sullen wind was soon awake,
It tore the elm-tops down for spite,
And did its worst to vex the lake:
I listened with heart fit to break.
When glided in Porphyria; straight
She shut the cold out and the storm,
And kneeled and made the cheerless grate
Blaze up, and all the cottage warm;
Which done, she [...]

Smelly Cat/Shoes

May 27, 2008

Smelly shoes, smelly shoes.
Why don’t you wash them.
Smelly shoes, smelly shoes.
Its all your fault.
You won’t throw them in the bin,
You obviously don’t know how we feel.
They do not smell like freaking roses,
You’re definitely no friend to those with noses.
Smelly shoes, smelly shoes.
How do you stand it?
Smelly shoes, smelly shoes.
I pity your [...]

C.S Lewis Song

May 26, 2008

If I find in myself desires nothing in this world can satisfy,
I can only conclude that I was not made for here.
If the flesh that I fight is at best only light and momentary,
Then of course I’ll feel nude when to where I’m destined I’m compared.
Speak to me in the light of [...]

Step into THE ZONE

May 25, 2008

The Concert was awesome.
3/4 (2.5 hours) into the event with only 30 minutes left to the closing, the crowds all hyped up, the band totally immerses us into God’s grace, we’re singing our lungs out, we’re having the time of our lives, jumping around, screaming, throwing light sticks, we’re making the best of whatever time’s [...]

And Cook wins the battle of the Davids

May 22, 2008

David Archuleta, affectionately known as Archie or Lil David, lost the duel to a very tough contender, David Cook.
But as the saying goes, every dark cloud has a silver lining..
So on this note, congratulations to David Cook, American Idol 2008!

…and we have a winner!

100!!!!!!!!!

May 21, 2008

Bring out the marching contingents,
Throw the confetti.
Roll the red carpet,
Spread the word!
Blare the trumpets,
Strum the guitar.
Wave the pompoms
Start the celebrations!
For Joy has reached her 100,
For Joy has finished a century!
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
No I am not a 100 years old.
This is just my 100th post.
And Im euphoric about it!
I guess, afterall, I am very verbose. LOL
But then again, [...]

I heart Apple

May 20, 2008

Most of you know I heart Apple right?
Yea, so I’ll just cut to the chase before your attention gets diverted to other more popular blogs where they talk about poetry and love and woman’s rights and whatever.

This is the MacBook Pro. Its a Black one, I want a White one.

This is a MacBook Air. The [...]
